Chris Brown was charged with a hit and run on Tuesday morning. The singer was accused of leaving the scene without exchanging proper information, as well as driving without a valid license. He was with his on and off girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Mark Geragos who is representing Brown says that these 'claims' are ridiculous. The alleged victim Olga Gure-Kovalenko wrote in a statement that Brown tried to avoid giving his details and calling her a b***h. She added that Tran offered to take responsibility because it was her car and Brown was just driving it.
Kovalenko said that when he refused to give his details she took a picture which made Brown angry. He tried to grab the camera and started shouting at her. That was when Tran screamed "don't touch her, don't touch her". That was when he jumped into the car and sped of.
According to Geragos he acknowledges Brown did not have a California license but said it was 'ridiculous' to charge him with a hit and run.
If he is convicted Brown could face four years of imprisonment.
She

girl [Tran] screamed, 'Don't touch her, don't touch her!'"
