| The Lodox Machine |
A machine called the Lodox was show cased on Greys Monday night. The machine scans a patient's body in just 13 seconds, where other X-rays take 20 minutes to X- ray a critically injured patient. The twist is that its made in South Africa. Intially, it was invented by the mining company called De Beers, which was used to scan hundreds of miners to see if they swallowed diamonds. According to Timeslive the CEO of Lodox, Pieter de Beer said a researcher from Greys Anatomy learnt about the machine when he was at a trauma unit at the LA County Hospital. On the show Doctors ranted and raved about how they could see what was wrong with the patient in 13 seconds. That's why I am proudly South African!!!!!!!!!
